Pastors Charles and Carol Furman were born again in 1981 in Schweinfurt, Germany. Their hunger for the things of God motivated them to seek fellowship with those who demonstrated the power and love of God in their personal lives. Charles and Carol joined with a body of believers who were attending the Gospel Service at Conn Barracks in Schweinfurt.
After a short time of growth the Lord sent them to Grace Christian Center in Killeen, Texas where they sat under the anointed teaching and mentorship of Pastors Terry and Jan Whitley for five years. Charles and Carol served the Body of Christ in various areas of helps ministry. Upon graduating from the Grace Christian Center School of Ministry in 1986 they were licensed into the ministry and subsequently were ordained into the ministry prior to their returning to Germany in 1988.
Upon their arrival once again in Schweinfurt, Germany, Charles and Carol joined with the Charismatic Worship Service that was meeting in the Ledward Barracks Chapel. They were given Lay-leader certification with Jim Ammerman Ministries and they served as Lay-leaders for the service for a period of time before moving on to help with the start of a new ministry where they served in various areas of the Helps Ministry and as Assistant Pastors.
Charles and Carol bring with them a diversity of ministry experience, having served the Body of Christ for many years in the areas of Youth Pastors, Praise and Worship Leaders and in numerous areas of the Helps Ministry. God has given them an insight for oversight and their desire is to see faith-filled men and women of God grow in their calling and come to the place where they walk in the fullness of all that God has called them to do and be.
Charles and Carol have two sons, Joshua and Joseph and two grandsons Joshua and Jaden.
